Lachemilla hispidula  (L. M. Perry) Rothm.;  Rosaceae

Hierbas gruesas que miden hasta 25 cm de alto; los tallos son de color rojizo, varios surgen de un mismo punto. Las hojas son reducidas, miden 0,7 cm de largo, muy estrechas, pueden haber hasta 10 unidas por sus bases y reunidas en anillos a lo largo del tallo, son vellosas. La inflorescencia es globosa, con varias flores. Las flores son diminutas, miden 2,5 mm de largo, de color rosado con blanco-verdoso.

Distribución: Colombia y Ecuador. En el PNC se encuentra en el páramo de almohadillas.

Coarse herbs, up to 25 cm tall; the stems are reddish and emerge from the same point. The leaves are reduced, up to 0.7 cm long, narrow, up to 10 fused at their base and clustered in rings along the stem, villous. The inflorescence is globose, with various flowers. The flowers are minute, up to 2.5 mm long, pink with greenish-white.

Distribution: Colombia and Ecuador. In CNP it is found in the cushion páramo.
